The free zone

In addition to the geographically favorable position the Free Zone of the Port of Rijeka offers a developed infrastructure and a system compatible with the latest EU legislation.

Natural persons and legal entities are welcome to use the Free Zone for activities: production, processing & storage of goods, wholesale and mediation in sales, banking and other financial business, insurance and reinsurance of persons and goods.

The user of the Zone may invest into construction of infrastructure or buildings from the Free Zone, and into equipment necessary to perform his business operations.
